Yes. This bill, which had been tabled in the Senate on April 24, but which could not be voted on due to the dissolution of the National Assembly, was finally adopted by the Senate on October 22. Therefore, it is now intended to be examined by the National Assembly (at the latest at the beginning of next year, according to the Minister of the Civil Service).
It should be remembered that the purpose of this bill is to reduce the administrative constraints that weigh on companies. In this respect, it mainly envisages to abolish certain administrative forms, applications for authorization and declarations, to introduce a “SME test” so that any new standard is preceded by an impact assessment of its effect on small and medium-sized businesses, to simplify companies’ access to public contracts, to allow merchants to pay their rent monthly or to strengthen the rights of companies vis-à-vis their insurer and banker.
